The PTO meets the first Tuesday of each month @ 6:30 p.m. in the school library. All parents are invited to join our Parent-Teacher Organization, which does a great deal of good in our school. This group sponsors a fall and spring fundraiser, turkey and/or ham raffle, an ice cream social, Bingo Nights, Pastries for Parents, Grandparents Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, as well as many other projects.
These fundraisers provide financial support to the staff and students of our school in the form of computers, library materials, classroom supplies and playground equipment.

Attention Seniors!
The Parent Teacher Organization at Solheim Elementary School is awarding college scholarships to former Solheim students who are planning to attend college or technical school next year. The scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:- Must have completed two full years at Solheim Elementary School.
- Two students will each receive an award of $500.00.
- Must be a graduating senior from one of the Bismarck/Mandan high schools.
- Any graduating senior continuing their education after high school (i.e., 4 year college, 2 year college, technical or trade school, etc.) and meeting the scholarship criteria is encouraged to apply.
- Scholarships are awarded based on scholastic achievement, extra-curricular activities, work experience, community involvement, and future plans.
- Must complete and return application to Solheim Elementary School by April 13, 2012.
- Must submit a copy of your high school transcript along with the application.
